Dennis Wayne Gingery - age 80 of Farwell, passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center. He was born on February 11, 1936 the son of Francis and Harriett (Warner) Gingery in Farwell, MI. Dennis enlisted in the United States Air Force after high school where he married Reiko Abe on November 5, 1958 in Tokyo, Japan. Dennis worked as a dairy truck driver for Sealtest Milk Company. He was a member of the Clare Farwell American Legion Post #558.

Dennis is survived by his wife of 57 years, Reiko; a daughter, Rumie and husband Curtis Martinez of Farwell; two brothers, Elmer Gingery of Farwell and Robert Gingery of Arizona; a sister, Karen and husband Doug Corwin of Clare. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Wilbur Gingery and Gerald Gingery; and a sister, Jean Haggert.

Funeral services for Dennis will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Campbell Stocking Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Farwell. Friends will gather beginning at 10 AM prior to the service. Pastor Jeremy Gomez will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens.
