Duane Michael Pickering- age 61 of Farwell passed away on Friday, December 2, 2016 at Mid-Michigan Medical Center in Midland. Duane was born to parents Jack and Shirley (Mitchell) Pickering on March 12, 1955 in Macomb Co., Michigan. Duane was married on June 18, 2004 in Clare, to Christine Renner. Duane loved to watch the Lions, Red Wings, and the Spartans. He was a very special person with a great sense of humor. He will be deeply missed by to love of his life, Chris, four siblings; Debbie Fournier and husband George of Clinton Twp., Denise Schroeder and husband Dale of New Baltimore, Diane Kulbertis and husband Len of St. Clair Shores, Donna Kowalski and husband Norm of Prudenville, many nieces and nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Jack and brother J.J. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Duane's life is planned for January 21, 2017 from 1-4PM at the Rockwood in Farwell.
