Forrest Ronald "Ron" Youngblood- age 84 of Lake, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2016, at North Woods Nursing Center in Farwell. Ron was born on November 2, 1932 in Madison Heights, MI to parents Flavle and Cecil (Walker) Youngblood. Ron proudly served with the United States Army from 1954-until 1956 during the Korean Conflict. Ron enjoyed archery along with his companion Barbara and was a member of Michigan Bowhunters, Michigan Longbow Assoc., Traditional Bowhuners Assoc., NRA, and constucted his own bows. He loved hunting and camping. He is survived by his special companion Barbara Szymkowicz, his sister Nancy Richardson, of Warren, grandson Jamie Berezowsky and wife Wendy, great grandchildren Lilli and Brady, stepsons Paul and Patrick Szymkowicz, and many nieces and nephews.
