Nelda Marie Higgins- age 75 of Farwell passed away on Monday, February 6, 2017, after a long courageous battle with cancer. Nelda was born on June 20, 1941 in Evart, the only daughter of six children to parents Lloyd and Almeda ( Durvich) Bennett. on March 9, 1980 she married Larry Lee Higgins in Mount Pleasant.A lifelong resident, she retired from Hillsdale Tool in Mt. Pleasant. She was a member of Farwell Church of Christ. She is survived by her beloved husband of 37 years, Larry, sons Terry Robison and Marilyn Baker of FL, Tim Robison and wife Renee' of FL, eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and their beloved lab Heidi. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Bryan Roberson, and all five of her brothers; Doug, Duane, Dale, Gaylord, and Gary Pratt. A celebration of Nelda's life will be held on Saturday, February 11th, at the Farwell Church of Christ, 700 E. Michigan St., Farwell. A cremation has taken place, honoring Nelda's wishes.
