Mary Ann Prokopp- Tostevin- age 76 of Farwell passed away on Thursday, April 6th at Medilodge of Clare. Mary Ann was born on February 2, 1941 to parents Kenneth Edgar and Alice Elizabeth (McCumber) Cowles in Harrison. Mary was married to Hubert Prokopp on July 19, 1974 in Flint. He preceded her in death on June 5, 2001.She later was married to James Tostevin on October 16th, 2011 in Farwell. She is survived by her husband Jim Tostevin, 3 children; Ken Prokopp and wife Velma of Harrison, Rex Brown and wife Kal of Clio, Danita Withey and husband Gary of Lakeview, stepsons Tim & Ken Tostevin, fifteen grandchildren, and twenty-one great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Service is planned for Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 11AM, at the Campbell-Stocking Funeral Home in Farwell. Pastor Andrew Apps of the Farwell Church of Christ will officiate. Friends and family may visit from 9AM until the time of service at 11AM. Honoring Mary's wishes a cremation will take place. Her final resting place will be in Surrey Township Cemetery.
