Sherry Lee Kirkey- age 51 passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Mid Michigan Medical Center, Midland. Sherry was born on November 17, 1965 to parents William Joseph and Sharon Frankie (Myers) Rodgers in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. Sherry was married on June 6, 1992 to Timothy Kirkey in Mt. Pleasant and together has three sons and two grandchildren. She was a cook for Farwell Community Schools and loved to cook and garden. Sherry will be sadly missed by her spouse of twenty-five years, Tim, three sons; Christopher Kirkey of Grand Rapids, Ryan Kirkey and wife Ashley of Reed City, Glen Kirkey of Farwell, grandchildren; Bentley and Carter, mother Sharon Rodgers, two brothers Jeff Rodgers and Jessie Rodgers of Farwell, and her sister Shelly Walkiewicz and husband John of Farwell. She was preceded in death by her brother Joseph Rodgers. A funeral is scheduled for Saturday, June 17th, 2017 at 10AM at the Campbell-Stocking Funeral Home in Farwell. Pastor Kevin Smith of the Gilmore Church of Christ will officiate with burial in Gilmore Township Cemetery. Family and friends may visit on Friday, June 16th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM.
