Obituary for Karen May Alexander

Karen May Alexander- age 71 of Farwell, passed away on Friday, August 25, 2017 at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing. Karen was born on May 20, 1946 to parents Donald and Dorothy (Wiggins) McNeil in Royal Oak Michigan. She was a graduate of Farwell High School and married Larry Alexander on June 3, 1966 in Farwell. Karen was a dietician at Mt. Pleasant Hospital, and enjoyed reading books, cooking and loved dearly her grand and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of of 51 years, Larry; her two sons Kevin Monroe Alexander of Farwell, Clark Robert Alexander and wife Nichole of Farwell, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two brothers Gary McNeil and wife Connie of Auburn Hills, Larry McNeil and wife Donna of Sears, and two sisters; Charlotte E. Bishop of Marion and Sharon D. Sneller and husband Dale of Clio. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers; Donald, Kenneth, and Richard McNeill. A cremation has taken place and a Memorial service is planned at her graveside on Friday, September1, 2017, at North Brinton Cemetery, at 1PM. Pastor Marty Cobb will perform the committal. A luncheon will be held at the Clare/Farwell Moose Lodge following the graveside service.
