Michael L. Brown, age 54, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 12, 2018 at Midland Hospital in Midland, MI. He was born April 29, 1963 to Elmer Manners and Elizabeth Manners (Brown) in Shelby, MI. He was a 1982 graduate of Battle Creek High School. He married his wife, Joyce Ward, on August 21, 2009. Michael truly enjoyed life to fullest that he could, through simple pleasures; fishing, camping, messing with anything and everything he could find. He enjoyed collecting model cars and Dale Earnhardt merchandise. He loved most of all being a father to his children and being a grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Joyce; three brothers, Frank (Stephanie) Manners of Vestaburg Mi, Phillip (Christina) Manners of Dexter Mi, and Wes Whitaker of Harrison Mi; his five daughters Dorthea (Danny) Yarrington, Shelby Brown, Mary Brown, Jennifer (Rob) Woodbury, and Beth Whitaker; and one son Jason Crisman. He had six grandchildren Chasity, Ashlie, David, Devin, Ethan, and Nathan. Michael also had an aunt, an uncle, and several nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. He is preceded in death by his father Elmer Manners his mother- in- law Velma Parker, his brother Darold Manners, And a beloved nephew Dallas Manners. Michael was always for looking smiles and laughs.
