Sandra Kay Hilliard- age 72 of Bay City, passed away on May 15, 2018 at McLaren Bay Regional Hospital. Sandra was born on April 15, 1946 in Bay City, to parents Darwin D. and Louella (Palmer) Gillette. Sandra was married to Micheal Lynn Hilliard on December 16, 1985 in Harrison. She spent her Spring and Summers very involved with growing and selling fruits and vegetables at their vegetable stands. She loved to craft, crochet, and most of all gifting fruit and vegetable items to friends and family. She is survived by her son Scott Lantz and wife Peggy of Bay City, Kurt Lantz and wife Jamie of Bay City, and daughter Colleen Hilliard of Perry, five grandchildren; Josh (Sarah) Lantz, Amanda Lantz, Justin (Ariane) Hedland, Madison and Zachary Lantz, three great-grandchildren; Christina, Grace Lynn, Xavier, sisters Dorothy Kehr and husband Gerald of Freeland, Alberta Sperry and husband Lee of Gaylord, Terry Davis and husband Dale of Saginaw, and a host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Michael and will be laid to rest with him at Great Lakes National Cemetery. A funeral service is planned for Wednesday, May 23rd, 2018 at 12 PM at the Campbell-Stocking Funeral Home in Farwell. Friends and family may visit from 10AM until the time of service at 12PM.
