Bernard Ray Robison- age 90 of Farwell, passed away at his home on Friday, June 29, 2018. Bernard was born on July 21, 1927 to parents John Perry and Mary Gladys (Prout) Robison in Vernon Twp. He was married to Helen LaRae Newman in Clare on Nov. 17, 1945. Together they raised 3 children. Bernard served with the Coast Guard and worked production in machine manufacturing. He was a member of American Legion #558. He is survived by his three children, Mark and wife Jan Robison of Gladwin, Frank and wife Robin Robison of Clare, Sue Robison of Farwell, 6 grandchildren; Andrea (Tim) Moore, Ryan (Katie) Robison, John (Krissi) Robison, Kate Wooer, Elizabeth Robison, Jessica (Adam) Shaw, 23 great-grandchildren and many more family members and friends. Bernard was preceded in death by his wife Helen on April 2, 2010. He was also preceded in death by 4 brothers; Russell, Milan, Mervil, and Willis Robison and a sister Norma English. A funeral is planned for Monday, July 2, 2018 at 1PM at the Campbell-Stocking Funeral Home in Farwell. Friends and family may visit on Sunday, July 1st from 4-8PM and again on Monday from 11AM until the time of service. He will be laid to rest in Gilmore Twp.
