Theresa Evelyn Yoder- age 80, passed away at her home, on Sunday, October 28, 2012. She was born Theresa Evelyn Gasco, to her parents Louis and Margaret (Bwanishing) Gasco on December 22, 1931 in their home in Cross Village, Michigan. She was a full-blooded Native American Indian and member of the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians. Theresa married Truman Ray Yoder, Sr. in Cross Village on April 4, 1950. She worked as a custodian in the Michigan State Capital Building in Lansing. She was a member of Lake Eagles #3761, and loved going to casinos. She is survived by her son Truman Ray Yoder, Jr. and wife Brenda of Lansing, three daughters; Brenda Bailey of Lake, Sandra Yoder of Lake, Debra Smithkey-Browne of Brutus, twelve grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, 0ne great-great-grandchild, two sisters; Marcella Keller of Cross Village, and Alice Hughes and husband Ray of Cross Village. She was preceded in death by her husband, four brothers, Clarence, Danny, William, Vernon; one sister Agnes Worthington, and her parents. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 31, at 1PM at the Campbell-Stocking Family Funeral Home in Farwell. Friends may visit from 11AM until the time of the service.Fr.
