Lila R. Koontz- age 91 of Clio, formerly of Farwell, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, January 26, 2018 at Maple Woods Manor in Clio. Lila was born on April 4, 1926 in Kalkaska, MI to parents Lewis Napoleon and Mable (Seading) LaVoye. Lila loved to crochet, watch hummingbirds, do puzzle books, and worked for a period of time for Kraft Foods. She is survived by her sons Floyd Koontz of Farwell, Dennis and wife Donna Koontz of Sun City AZ, daughters; Carolyn Irwin and husband Gail of Clio, Donna Clark of FL., four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Loren Koontz. Lila's wish was to be laid to rest with her husband Loren in Surrey Twp Cemetery.
