Jeanne Cecile Briggs, age 72 went to her eternal home on Sunday, July 1, 2018 in Farwell, Michigan. Jeanne was born on July 1, 1946 in Omaha, Nebraska to Harold Cecil and Evelyn Ruth (Bachman) Teater. Jeanne married Robert Lee Briggs Jr. on March 7, 1964 and together they had one son Robert Lee Briggs III. Jeanne was devout in her faith and cherished her family, especially her grandchildren. Jeanne was preceded in death by her father, mother and sister Bonnie Dora (Teater) Hagadorn. Jeanne is survived by her loving husband Robert L. Briggs Jr.; her son Robert (Jill) Briggs; her sisters and brother, Mary (Lowell) Daisley, Shirley (Jim) Kee, Alice (Pio) Porta, Cecil (Linda) Teater; sister-in-law Beth (Carl) Crofts; grandchildren Laurel Briggs and Daniel Briggs; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Friday July 6th at 11:00 am at St. John Lutheran Church in Clare.
