Instant friends

It wouldn't surprise anyone to hear that the momet I met Everett we were instant friends. I admired his outlook, his work ethic and his sense of humor, he was skilled at what he did and could laugh easily. He was always easy to talk to.

I went back and saw him sitting by his work bench and I'd asked him:

"How's it going?"

He told me he'd had nothing to do all day.

"Did you get it all done?"

"Well, I don't know", he responded.

"Do you still have nothing to do?"

"Yep".

"Then you're not done yet".

He agreed. That was the type of humor we could share, you just walked into it and ran with it.

I enjoyed working with him, solving problems together; he had a wealth of experience and could always share. You always felt like you'd gained something after spending time with him. I missed him when he left there and was happy to rejoin him via Facebook.

You will be missed again my friend.
